Financial freedom and the time to enjoy it!
As a solo equine veterinarian I was working 70 to 80 hours a week and had basically no life outside of my practice. At first I was very skeptical about network marketing. I had no concept of residual income and my belief systems were all based on working harder to get ahead. Out of a place of desperation I decided to give network marketing a try. I had some beginners' luck as a few of my friends got excited about the products and business opportunity.
None of us knew what we were doing and we made every mistake in the book. It was very hard, and, at one point, I said to my sponsor that I would not try to talk my worst enemy into doing a network marketing business! Yet in my heart, I knew it could work -- and I had seen it work for others. I kept reading, attending trainings, listening to tapes and working on growing personally...
Slowly, my group enlarged and things got easier as I learned to focus on people who wanted what I had to offer and less on those I thought needed saving. Gradually, I was able to cut back on the hours I spent in my practice and I began to enjoy it much more. My study of network marketing lead me to other areas like financial planning and leadership training.
It has been ten years now and quite a journey. My life now is full of friends and new adventures. I am working about 30 hours a week in my practice and enjoy every minute of it. I have time to ride my mules and spend time with my friends, many of whom are part of my downline as consumers or networkers.
